Air France winter sale: cheap flights to Europe from $235

No matter what language you speak, a vol bon marché (cheap flight) is universal.
Air France is offering flights to Paris, Nice and other European cities this winter. Fares start at $235 one-way (taxes not included) for flights to Nice and $288 one-way for France flights.
The sale also has a pretty large travel window. If you book by November 19, you can travel through December 19 and again between January 6 and March 26, 2010.
A Sunday night stay is required, but it’s not much of a hardship when you’re drinking French wine or relaxing in a Barcelona café.
You’ll find the cheapest fares Monday through Thursday, with an increase of $20 to $40 on weekends. When we searched for mid-week flights from New York City to Nice, the total flight came to $715 roundtrip.
In a wider search, we did find a slightly cheaper flight on British Airways for $668 roundtrip.
